Oven-baked olive garden asiago tortelloni alfredo with grilled chicken

Oven baked olive garden asiago tortelloni alfredo with grilled chicken is so enjoyable! I even found the actual OG Alfred recipe and its spot on! This recipe is so delicious and comforting! It’s perfect for a chilly winter night!

Olive Garden also produces some Oven Baked Pastas such as Asiago Tortelloni Alfredo with Grilled Chicken, Four Meat Italian Mac & Cheese and Smoked Mozzarella Shrimp Rigatoni. Many people (as well as myself) I believe have not seen the mac & cheese in the commercials so I have read many articles on the internet where majority are greatly passionate about Asiago Tortelloni with Grilled Chicken!

What is Olive Garden’s Oven Baked Tortellini Alfredo?

The Olive Garden particularly comprises asiago tortelloni tossed in Alfred and then topped up with bread crumbs and grilled chicken.

The Olive Garden description takes tortellONI (and we know tortellINI – so what’s the difference? Tortellini is a bit smaller and normally bloated with meat while on the other hand, Tortelloni is generally bigger and usually packed with cheese or vegetarian). Nowadays it’s not easy to find tortellONI at a grocery store – so mostly we just get tortellini instead. The difference is minimal at best.

How do you make Olive Garden Alfredo Sauce starting from step one to the end?

In fact, Olive Garden has procedures on their website where one of them is the recipe for their Alfredo sauce! Olive Garden Alfredo is prepared minus cream-cheese – so, just don’t mistake it! Making it is not that difficult. Just walk through these simple steps: melt butter and garlic – add a little flour and stir. Then add grated Romano cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, milk and heavy cream. That’s it! It’s just so sweet and delicious. Some people like to use a jarred sauce but that depends on your preference. I like it simple and easy!

How would one make Olive Garden’s Oven Baked Tortellini Alfredo?

It’s a little juggling action – but it’s on the table in 30 minutes! For the chicken, just drizzle the marinade on the chicken and baked it for 25 minutes. Boil the tortellini while the chicken is baking and started the Alfred sauce then When the tortellini was about half done. If you time it right, the chicken, pasta and Alfred are already at the same time. Set to Broil at great temperatures then mix up the Alfred and pasta all together, lay the chicken on top of the mixture then shower with Italian-cheese and panko and then broil in the oven for about 3-5 minutes.

  • 6 tbsp. butter
  • 1 tbsp. garlic
  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 1.5 cups heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup Romano cheese grated
  • 1/4 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese shredded

Instructions

  1. Set the oven to Pre-heat at an average temperature of 350°
  2. break chicken breasts into smaller pieces of even thickness
  3. POUR the marinade over the chicken
  4. BAKE chicken for 25 minutes

  6. When the pasta has about 4-5 minutes left, SAUTE the butter and garlic in a saucepan on medium heat. Cook for 1 minute, stirring occasionally.
  7. ADD the ingredients from the flour to the Romano to saucepan and stir frequently until the sauce begins to simmer. Remove from heat.\
  8. In a large bowl, put together drained pasta with most of the Alfredo and then mix up lightly. Leave behind about 1/2 cup of Alfredo to add after baking.
  9. By now, your chicken should be ready! Slice chicken breast and set aside.
  10. Change the oven to Broil-High
  11. Spray a casserole dish with non-stick spray
